1. Making a Plan

4. Giving the Praise
Praising your child becomes a factor of what works in potty training. During the training, your child may shows the positive respond when he can pass a step and moves to another step. You should to praise him by saying you are proud of him or by giving applause. The compliment you give will motivate and encourage him to do the next step of training well. However, do not praise him over because it will make your child nervous and afraid to fail. It may lead him to get more accidents.
5. Accepting the Accidents
In doing the training, it is impossible to not get the accidents primarily when it is just started. You don’t have punish or be angry with him, but you have to still give a care. You should understand that the accident he got is because his nervous. As the time passed, your child will be accustomed the process due to the time. When you find him get an accident, clean it up and talk to him gently that in the next time, he should use the potty properly.
